#24in48 summary post

Hey guys,

I warned you, that I’d switch to English again, so here it is. The readathon.

I’ll do it like I did last time, and try to post or link everything here, so both you and I can find everything easily. But the written challenges will be posted in posts of their own.

Challenges:

Hour 0: Opening survey

Hour 6: Shelfie time

Hour 12:  If you could take a roadtrip to any three bookish locations, what would they be?

If I’d make a roadtrip to a bookish location or more than one, it would be to Stuttgart, where the novels of Elisabeth Katabek take place (and my best friend lives there, and still I’ve never been there). And maybe I’d make a detour to Munich. I’ve been there on the set of the movie adaptation of ‚Mara and the Fire Bringer‘, but I never went to see the actual book locations, except for the school in which the protagonist is bullied in the beginning.

(I’d like to see Cornwall as well, where some good books take place, but as I’d NEVER take the tunnel to England, I’d have to take the plane and therefore it would not be a road trip anymore.)

Hour 18: I was asleep and missed it 😉

Hour 24: Snacks

Hour 30: Verse

Status updates:

Day 1, 1:38 in (official time):

Started only about 8 minutes ago with my audio book of Anna Karenina. I want to finish it so badly as I don’t really enjoy it. But I’ll have to stretch it a bit, as today/tomorrow is also the big Pokemon Go birthday event and I’ll need it to keep ‚reading‘ when I’m outside 😉

Anyway, starting of:

The Extraordinary Journey of the Farik who got trapped in an IKEA Wardrobe: page 160 of 311

The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes: page 179 of 464

Anna Karenina: Part 3 of 4, Track 287 of 391

Day 1, 6:35 in (official time), 4 hours and 33 minutes read:

Getting a bit tired though it’s only noon here. But I wrote about 3 pages of my own novel while listening to my audio book and after writing I’m always tired. Still, gotta keep going 😉

Had to take a walk with my audio book as I had a headache that tried to torture me. But I’m back and feeling a little better. Thinking about a second coffee, but I’d like to go to bed in about 4 hours, so maybe it’s too late for coffee?
